I once did this 2 weeks after spending 1.2k on a set of wheels. I feel the pain.

Wheels are like ink cartridges. Best of just buying a whole new car.

Nah, you'll be okay. Sorry about your luck.

Happens to the best of us man, I just fucked a rim up last month and these were some high quality Rs4 reps.

Just a curb rash. Sorry it happened, but probably not worth replacing the wheel.

At least in Phoenix, there are places that can fix that. I am not sure how they do it, but I have had it done and it looks perfect.

It’d probably be cheaper to have it refinished than to buy a new wheel from Dodge.

Ouch! Curb rash.

Personally, I'd wait till a flat tire to replace it.

Most places will charge you about $100 to refinish the wheel and it'll look as good as new!

That's pretty fixable, should be able to get it refinished for $125-$150 max

If the tire still holds air, I’d just leave the curb rash alone. It’s ugly, but it is liberating not to have to worry about keeping them pristine. Wheels are pretty resilient though, there’s a challenger on my street with a massive dent in the rim, but it still holds (that one I might get fixed as a safety issue, but it’s much worse than yours).

Curb view assist, it's so worth it. The sidewalls of my tires are tall enough that the rim wouldn't touch the curb anyways.

Yea its just curb rash. no damage to the tire. It just pisses me off because I’ve only had the car for 2 months. If it had been 2 years, I probably wouldn’t care too much.

Local to me in Colorado alloy wheel repairs are around 100-125 per wheel depending on how much of a pain they are to fix based upon design and how much damage there is. I’ve had stock wheels, BBS and Advans repaired at these services and they come out just as good as new!

I actually went against Steve Lehto’s advice about bought some of the extended service. One of the covered losses is curb rash. I’ll file that claim.
